What does a car camping pass get me?

If you purchased a car camping pass, things will be very similar to what you’ve experienced in the past. On a first come, first served basis you will be able to secure & hold spots for your #HulaCrew for a reasonable amount of time. Our campground staff are reasonable people and will work with you to ensure that your crew can be together. There will be multiple lanes to head in from the front staffed with these people who are familiar with the site that can help direct you to where you want to camp or are meeting people.

For those of you who have been to the park and know where you’re going there will be an express lane to zip past the questions and directions lanes. Reviewing the map and communicating with your friends who are already inside should help you come prepared to know if you need directions or already know where to go upon arrival.

How do I get my things into the park if I chose to park for free instead of buying a camping pass or taking a shuttle?

For those of you who opt for our free parking & shuttle program, there will be numerous vehicles constantly moving people from the depot near the parking lot and box office into the site. If you choose to not wait, there will be camping space for tents, only a few hundred feet from this spot, inside the venue and not far from the parking lot at all.

Can we still camp in the woods?

We have cleared acres of underbrush to significantly increase the amount of usable shaded tree camping while creating new & improved camping options. So all of your favorite traditional spots remain, and the woods will be open for camping.
